Did anyone else watch Episode 8 "Crevasse" and become seriously concerned about Maria's depression? She bounced back very well in the next episode 9, and the glorious "Dark" #10. She seemed to be responding to peoples' worries about her at the beginning of "Dark." I'm sure the people closest to her watch out for such things, but it is so hard to tell sometimes.

Aww... Well I would bet like any of us, she has good days and bad. I'd bet that she's well overall. I'm a big Christopher Titus fan as well and he says the best thing about being a comic is having that avenue to discuss your troubles. He even suggests his mother wouldn't have killer herself if she had a room full of people to listen to her and laugh along with everynight. I think in a way stand up comedy is an odd career for a person with depression, but in the funniest way, it's the perfect career choice. Performing is an absolute energy and emotional boost, assuming it goes well. It also is draining and tedious sometimes, but I think the good outweighs the bad. If it wasn't something she enjoyed, she'd have parted with it a long time ago. Seems she just needs a Diet Coke sometimes.

"FAITH" was the GREATEST!!!
Does it make me GAY to be so strongly SEXUALLY attracted to Maria in DRAG as Pastor Dan? I want the HOT, HOT blood of Christ coming and coming into the tender, tender clefts of my moist, tender heart. All night long and for ETERNITY.
Now I'm conflicted.

As you may or may not know, Maria is making a one person sitcom for superdeluxe called The Maria Bamford Show. It's Maria breaking apart her stand up and making a hilarious story about having a nervous breakdown and moving back with her parents in Minnesota. I'll post all the video links in here as they become available. And *that's* what happens when I don't visit here as often as I should. I miss all this great stuff! I just watched all the episodes back-to-back. This is wonderful. Not only is Maria is fine form, but the production of these short videos rocks. Rich
