As long as they're not weird, creepy, or gross? She's going to be stopping by Chicago at the Lakefront Theatre in a few months, and I wanted to buy tickets and give her something in person if I could. I don't know if she has a policy or something, or if she gets bombarded with fan love trinkets all the time.
Thanks!

Yes, she certainly does. I've given her small gifts after her shows 3 or 4 times. I gave her a copy of the movie "Little Voice", which sort of reminded me of her, and put a note with my email address in it - and she was sweet enough to email me a thank-you after she watched it. And I gave her a T-shirt that said "Pug Life" one time, and she wore it the next day in an after-show video.
The last gift I gave her was a book on creativity and depression, and since I thought that was sort of a downer of a gift I threw some chocolate in there.
And then the next time I saw her, she recognized me for the first time and said "I know you! You brought me chocolate!" Ha, wouldn't have spent so much thought picking out those other gifts if I'd known that chocolate would be the most memorable.
