Well, according to egyptian mythology cats are the guardians of the underworld. And mine often sits on the radiator beside my bed at night just staring at me. Sometimes, she's got her head tilted in the pounce position right when i'm waking up so i respect her ass,but they are really cuddly affectionate creatures!

My cat got out this weekend and she got as far as the front walk... I want to get a kitten soon. There is this pregnant fuzzy black cat at my mom's house and I want a burnt cotton ball! Give it a name like "rainbow" or something.

I have a male black cat myself.
Technically, he's a pseudo-tuxedo (small areas of white patches on his chin, throat, paws, and stomach), but mostly black. He's very sleek and slim with long legs. Members of my family have reason to believe he's part Siamese because of his bone structure and walking style.
Anyhow, I got Simon (who's six now) shortly after the death of my last cat who was the FIRST long-term pet of the family (she lived to be 18) and the only female cat any of us have had thus far. I loved my last cat, but there's no question Simon is a bit friendlier, almost fearless, and less neurotic than she was.
I met The Stinker at a local Humane Society Shelter. He was the most active and friendliest cat there (should have been a BIG WARNING about what was to follow later!) and I sprung him from there two days later.
The first three years with him were innteresting to say the least. He was a hyperactive SOB and I didn't get a heck of a lot of sleep until May '04 unless he was literally locked up for the night! Nowadays, he's much calmer and a far better friend than he was back then...

Stinker is a great name. It's good when an animal reacts to their name or their name represents them.

Yes! Unless it's mayonnaise because I'd hate yelling to an animal "I fking hate mayonnaise".

Well, looks like I've got every reason to look into getting a cute widdle kitty! It's going to be the most expensive cat in the world though when you include what it's not only going to cost me to get the cat, but also how much it's gonna cost me to live somewhere that allows pets.

I love most all animals. Cats are nice pets but sometimes my room mates cat annoys me because she comes in my room and gets sick. My suggestion before you getting a pet is to get settled down in a place that accepts animals so that just incase you can't have an animal that you don't have to give it up.

How many carrots do you feed them daily?

Well, I feed them carrots maybe 3 times a week and they usually get a whole carrot eat. Organic carrots cause they're spoiled. Nah, organic because I sell 'em at work. I put a picture up at work of my grey and white rabbit next to a mini shopping cart and added the caption: If You Don't Want Your Carrot Tops, I'll Take Them."
