We have 3 rescue German Shepherds. Expo (male 5), Blue (male 2) and Agnes (female 14). My wife was home yesterday and didn't latch one of the fence gates securely.
Someone knocked on the door and asked if we had 3 dogs. The people at the door had just seen them go running south of the house. So my wife grabs some leashes and they volunteer to drive her around to find them.
Luckily the dogs stayed together and they're just a few blocks from the house. They found the dogs and my wife called to them and they came to her. The people who helped her were afraid of dogs, but my wife was able to put leashes on 3 three, thanked the people who helped and then started for home.
But she was followed.
Some older dude in a small car was trailing her on the street. She tried walking a roundabout route to the house, but he must have picked up on the fact that she became aware of him and got outta sight.
A few hours later Animal Control was at the house stating that someone had reported our dogs as running loose and "terrorizing" the neighborhood.
Bull.
Anyway, no problemo... but that was a mean thing for that dude to do.

What a horrible thing for someone to let the dogs out! I am glad they are ok. Are they your babies?

What a horrible thing for someone to let the dogs out! I am glad they are ok. Are they your babies? Yup. We don't have any children. We also have two cats (Nala and Dhalilah). Not all the dogs get along with the cats. Once they got into a fight, and one of the cats jumped straight up about 8 feet onto some book shelves to get away from the dogs. We keep them seperated by gates and stuff when the dogs are in the house. Rich
