Maria Bamford was born September 3,1970 at The U.S. Naval Base,Port Hueneme,California to Joel and Marylin Bamford.
She grew up in Little Lake Peaquaym and Duluth,Minnesota attending Chester Park Elementary,and Marshall High Schools.Maria went on to study at Bate's College in Lewiston,Maine,the University of Edinburgh in Scotland,and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she earned a degree in Creative Writing.
Her father,mother,and sister are all doctors.
She began her stand-up career at Stevie Ray's Cabaret in Minneapolis when she was 19,and made her debut on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno 10 years later.She has done tons and tons of movies and tv shows & appearances over the years:
