E-MAIL FROM LANE- Hey everyone, Come up to the City this weekend and check out the hot new stand up comedian who's been compared to Robin Williams and Chris Rock**. I'll be handing out the yuks this Saturday night at 6pm up at the San Francisco Comedy College. It will be me and about 10 other aspiring comics, some of whom have a lot of experience and will actually make you laugh. And some of whom won't. But you can always laugh at them. Am I right, people? Click this link for show information www.brownpapertickets.com/event/21298. No need to buy tickets, it's on me. Just let me know if you're coming. Thanks! Lane ** Quote: "Compared to Robin Williams and Chris Rock, Lane Scott isn't funny"

Thanks for the shoutout, SLP. Let me know if you want to come to the show. I've been doing stand up for about 6 months now, on and off, mostly off. It's tough, man. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done. Make me appreciate the Bammer's talent even more. She makes it look a lot easier than it is.

That's enormously cool! I live in Michigan and I'm poor myself so sorry for not being there, but it sounds like fun. I'm digging the trenches in the comedy scene myself and trying the voice thing as well. How's your act coming? Anything you could submit or share somehow?

Have you ever worked Second City in Chi-town Ian?I know a girl who stands up there.

The show was taped, but I don't have a copy yet. Here's a picture of me knocking 'em dead, though... i191.photobucket.com/albums/z218/lanebrain65/StandUp%20Grad%20Show/IMG_0459.jpg

That's awesome! You're living the life. I have too lately with getting all my stuff together. I feel like it's all I do lately. God, it'd be nice to actually get paid for creating and entertaining. If you're interested, I'll host your video on my site if you get a digital copy. I'm looking for content contributors. It'd be free and fun and it's not a cult. If not, that's cool too. Glad you killed.

That's a good picture, but how do we know you killed? Well, "killed" is a relative expression. In my world, that means "some people laughed at my jokes". As opposed to all my previous performances, when they didn't. I'll get the video at some point and try to post it up here. Then you can judge for yourself -- 1/100 as funny as the Bammer, or 2/100? It's your choice.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here. You're 2/100 as funny as The Bammer. Nah, just kidding. Sure you were great!

We know Lane killed because no one lived to tell about it.
