The first time I saw the Bammer's work was her first Comedy Central special and I quick called over my friends to check it out because I knew right then that I'd seen the funniest comic I had or ever would see. Strangely, they weren't as excited over it as I was, but I didn't let that get me down.
I myself am a good ol' Southern boy living in the state of Virginia. As such that means that I've never seen Maria Bamford live, or much of any other comedian live. They generally tend to stay away from our state for some reason. Regardless, I'm currently persuing a very decent living drinking beer because my last job of making guns didn't work out so well. I swear to God I'm not joking. Hmmm...maybe that's why the standup comics stay away...
Regardless, I'm a tall, rather skinny fella who's nerdy in every sense of the word. You know you're a geek when nobody can sit in the backseat of your car cause it's completely taken over by Warhammer figurines and Versus cards. Even so, as a parting comment here, I must say that even though I am born and raised Southern, I find no humor in Larry the Cable Guy whatsoever. I can say that here, because I know I won't get lynched for it.
